It has been an impressive run of form from New York City FC in the past week. With new manager Domènec Torrent at the helm, the club has thrived, winning all three of their matches over the course of the week. This packed schedule did not phase the Eastern Conference club as they hold onto second place in the table in front of rivals New York Red Bulls.
The latest of those three wins, Saturday’s match against the Columbus Crew, looked like it was going to surely end in a draw, but two late goals from NYCFC propelled them to victory at home.
