Taking a 2-0 lead just moments into the second half, the New England Revolution defense crumbled, allowing the Vancouver Whitecaps to come back twice in a 3-3 draw. The Whitecaps recovered from the two-goal deficit in just three minutes and tied it again when trailing 3-2 late in the second half.
It was a missed opportunity for New England on the road, despite playing so well offensively for much of the game. While the single point may seem unsatisfying, it keeps the Revolution above the red line in the East with a chance to move up as high as third place this week.
