Following a goalless draw against the Seattle Sounders last week, the New England Revolution changed things up when the LA Galaxy came to town. It did not go in their favor. Things seemed to be going New England’s way during Saturday night’s game. That was until they were reduced to ten men in the game’s 23rd minute.
The red card did not seem to phase the hosts as they would go on to open the game’s scoring in the 28th minute courtesy of Diego Fagundez. A well-struck goal from Chris Pontious ten minutes later made it appear as if the Galaxy would turn things around quickly, however, Luis Caicedo regained the lead just prior to the break.
