Well, it was fun while it lasted.
The New England Revolution suffered its second loss of the season on Saturday, falling to FC Dallas at home, 1-0. Dallas continued its dominance over the Revs, extending its win streak to seven straight MLS victories over New England dating back to 2011.
For New England, its four-match unbeaten run came to an inglorious end. Despite dominating in possession and shots, the Revs could not find the breakthrough. There was a late shout for a Revolution penalty that went uncalled, though officiating was no excuse for the lack of clinical ability in front of goal.
