The New England Revolution are unbeaten in their last three while the Impact have two straight wins over last season’s MLS Cup Finalists. In the last four meetings between the two teams, New England is 4-0-0 including a dramatic, 3-2 victory to close out last season.
Montreal, led by elusive playmaker Ignacio Piatti, comes into Foxboro a healthy bunch up front. New England will face one of its toughest tests of the season defensively just six days after shutting down one of the fastest attacks in the league.
Like every team in MLS, Montreal has shown some vulnerability at the back at times this season.
