This new deal is a big step forward for the NASL as the club has recently downsized from 12 clubs to eight over the offseason. The newest addition is the Deltas, and the California club is the first west coast club in league history. In their short time as a league member, they are already making gains for the NASL as a whole.
By having Twitter join in on streaming, the league now has a vital way to market itself to the rest of the country. At the moment, the NASL has a television deal with beIN Sports, and any match not featured on beIN can be watched on ESPN3.
