Even as the football season turns its attention towards international play, the Major League Soccer season continues. On Wednesday night, the Montreal Impact played host to the Seattle Sounders, as two of the best teams in the league partook in a classic East-West battle.
Sadly, the spectacle on paper did not translate to the pitch. The Impact would round out as 2-1 winners, Saphir Taider notching both goals, but the game was a real bore with both sides lacking any creativity or spark.
