MLS Cup finalists Portland Timbers and Columbus Crew SC will meet again on the first day of the season, the league announced on Tuesday.
Major League Soccer revealed its schedule for the opening day of its 21st season on March 6, when all 20 clubs will face off in 10 matches on the first matchday of the season.
The defending champions Timbers, who defeated Columbus 2-1 in MLS Cup on Dec. 6, host Crew SC at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
