According to a tweet from MLS Transfers, “Dillon Powers has interest from Blackburn. May trial in the offseason.” The Colorado Rapids‘ midfielder is the latest name to hit the rumor mill from Major league Soccer. The club interested, Blackburn Rovers F.C., are currently in the Football League Championship which is the second-highest overall soccer league in England.
The rumor comes shortly after Powers’ teammate, Axel Sjoberg, was linked with a move Europe as well. Sjoberg could be on his way out of Colorado and onto Sweden to continue his career.
