It has been eight weeks of beautiful soccer in the MLS. We’ve seen an expansion team look better than half the league, we’ve seen the rise of the Chicago Fire with the arrival of Bastian Schweinsteiger, and we’ve seen the Portland Timbers at their best. While we’ve seen a lot of teams have strong starts, we’ve seen teams have not so strong starts like the Philadelphia Union or the Los Angeles Galaxy for example. All in all it’s been a great start to the 2017 MLS season and it can only get better from here.
