The Houston Dynamo signed M Eric Bird on December 22 from the Rio Grande Valley FC. In November the team’s head coach, Junior Gonzalez, became a Dynamo assistant coach.
Rio Grande Valley (RGV FC) joined USL in 2016, with the Dynamo managing soccer operations and the USL club managing the business. Former Seton Hall University soccer Head Coach Gerson Echeverry takes over at RGV FC.
