Decision day is an exciting day around the MLS, for some teams. This time last year, NYCFC could care less, but today, there was a different atmosphere in Yankee Stadium. With a packed house, NYCFC ended the season the way it started–with a win.
To clinch a first round bye, NYCFC had to do it’s part and grab the three points or get some help from the Chicago Fire and Toronto FC match. The boys in blue always looked in control of the match, especially right before the halftime whistle as Stiven Mendoza gave NYCFC the 1-0 lead.
