Decision Day is almost upon us. At the start of the Major League Soccer regular season, there were 14 places available in the MLS post-season. Now, there are just two.
Both of those come in the Western Conference with four teams still in the hunt for the remaining two spots. Meanwhile, there are battles for home-field advantage in both conferences.
Let’s start with the battle for second place in the East.
Now: ATL 55 – PHI 55
Both Atlanta United and the Philadelphia Union had their chances to win the Eastern Conference, but in the end, New York City FC had too much for the pair of them.
