Minnesota United and the Miguel Ibarra problem

When Miguel Ibarra was announced in a press conference with close friend Christian Ramirez as Minnesota’s two newest MLS signings back in February, Minnesota fans were elated. Ibarra starred for Minnesota’s NASL team, and became a fan favorite, before moving to Liga MX side Club Leon, where he struggled for playing time.

However, the U.S. international now finds himself on the outside looking in at Minnesota United, as new acquisition Sam Nicholson has been the preferred start at Left wing for Head coach Adrian, and has shown flashes of being a solid MLS starter. Now the question is, what should Minnesota do with Ibarra now that he’s not a starter?
