NASL Golden Boot winner Christian Ramirez was a revelation for the Loons in his first MLS season last year, scoring 14 goals to lead the team.
However, Minnesota’s star striker was surprisingly left on the bench by Adrian Heath last week, as Heath thought that the pace of Abu Danladi would be more effective at breaking down the San Jose defense, as Danladi could drop deeper to help better connect him with a struggling midfield.
