Entering their third season in Major League Soccer, Minnesota United finally filled out their three Designated Player slots, adding Jan Gregus to a thoroughly undermanned and vulnerable midfield. They then partnered him with Ozzie Alonso from the Seattle Sounders.
That is smart business, but such were the deficiencies of the team last season, that it is only a part of the work that was required this offseason to make this team a challenger in MLS. Adrian Heath still has much to do.
So, here are Minnesota United’s three biggest remaining needs this offseason.
