Minnesota: 3 things to watch for against Chicago

Here are 3 things to watch for when the Loons battle the Chicago Fire on Saturday night.

Ramirez/Kallman update

According to head coach Adrian Heath, Striker Christian Ramirez and Center back Brent Kallman are both day-to-day, Ramirez with a hamstring injury, and Kallman with an MCL strain.

Though Kallman suffered the injury nearly 2 months ago, it is still uncertain whether he will play against the Fire. Ramirez is getting closer to fitness, though Heath insisted that he won’t play “unless he’s 100%”.

Left back position

If Brent Kallman is unable to play, it may force Minnesota to abandon the Francisco Calvo left back experiment for now, which worked well against Seattle, and move him back to the Center back position.
