It has been quite the year for Matt Turner, who has turned his tremendous form in MLS with the New England Revolution into a summer call-up with the United States national team. And now ahead of the MLS All-Star Game on Wednesday night, Turner can freely admit that this Revolution team is something special.
And for his part, Turner is head and shoulders the best goalkeeper in all of MLS, his form in the recently concluded CONCACAF Gold Cup a major reason why the United States exceeded expectations and won the tournament.
