Major League Soccer has announced its first class of free agents.
Beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, 26 players will be free to negotiate new deals with any of the league's 20 teams.
The list of players includes names such as Ricardo Clark, Edson Buddle and Mike Magee, and predominantly consists of longtime veterans.
Based on the league's most recent collective bargaining agreement, only players who were out of contract or didn't have options picked up at the end of the 2015 season, and are at least 28 years old and have a minimum of eight years of service are eligible.
