Adama Diomande was the star of the show on Saturday night, the striker scored a hat-trick to help lead Los Angeles FC to a 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union. It was the first-ever hat-trick scored in the expansion club’s history.
Diomande scored twice the in the first half and Fafa Picault scored for the Union to make it a 2-1 scoreline at halftime.
In the second half, Diomande completed his hat-trick in the 55th minute to give the home side a massive third goal. Latif Blessing closed out the victory with a goal in the final minute of second-half stoppage time.
