According to Steven Goff of the Washington Post, “Houston Dynamo F Giles Barnes, Jamaican intl with English roots, drawing transfer interest from abroad.” This is an interesting turn of events for the Dynamo who are currently in last place in the Western Conference. Barnes has been one of their best players during this disappointing season.
Giles has played for Houston since 2012 and he has been a regular in the starting XI in the past five seasons. He has previously played over in England earlier in his career from 2005 to 2012. Barnes played for Derby County, Fulham, West Bromwich Albion, and the Doncaster Rovers.
