The remake of the Houston Dynamo continued on Friday afternoon. In a move not totally unexpected, the Houston Dynamo gave forward Will Bruin an early Christmas present shipping him to the 2016 MLS champion Seattle Sounders in exchange for allocation monies. With the club’s recent inclinations towards a more international squad and the development of Mauro Manotas and the potential reunification “Cubo” Torres and head coach Wilmer Cabrera along with the international signing of Honduran forward Romell Quioto, Bruin became the odd man out.
The “Dancing Bear” splashed onto the scene as a rookie out of Indiana six years ago but the heir apparent to Dynamo legend Brian Ching had a roller coaster ride following a sophomore season that saw him tally 12 goals and five assists.
