After the departure of Kennedy Igboananike to DC United last week, the Fire appear to have found some replacements, acquiring forwards Luis Solignac and David Arshakyan.
Solignac comes over from the Colorado Rapids, where he put up three goals and four assists since joining them last May. In exchange for the striker, the Fire gave up an undisclosed sum of general allocation money.
The 25-year-old Argentine had played for clubs in Argentina, Portugal, Sweden, and Finland prior to joining MLS with Colorado. Fire general manager Nelson Rodriguez said that they “expect him to contribute right away”.
