The Chicago Fire barely kept themselves alive in the playoff hunt on Saturday night as the Men In Red were held to a scoreless draw away to last-place FC Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium. The Fire started the contest on the front foot, creating a number of chances early on.
However, as per usual, they could not convert and allowed their hosts back into the match. The game really opened up at the end as both sides pressed on for a late winner, but neither could find it, each settling for a somewhat useless point on the night.
