Unfortunately for the newest team in the league in 2019, FC Cincinnati suffered badly, only managing to win six games all season, racking up a miserly 24 points from their 34 regular-season matches, finishing bottom of both the Eastern Conference and the Supporters’ Shield standings.
Put it this way, their debut season in the American top flight was the fifth-worst in the decade, and, had it not been for San Jose only amassing 21 points the year before, it would have been the worst points tally in the regular season since D.C. United’s 16 in 2013.
