The tumultuous season for the New England Revolution has come to an end for the time being as Bruce Arena’s arrival has reignited the Eastern Conference side. However, on Friday night, the Revolution showed glimpses of what brought them their early season struggles.
Leading 2-0 in the first half, the Revolution saw their lead disintegrate in the second half as it ended 2-2 against D.C. United in Washington D.C. A red card and a late goal from Quincy Amarikwa prevented the Revolution from picking up a massive three points on the road.
It’s safe to say New England struggle in the second half.
