During the first leg of the New York City FC and Toronto Eastern Conference Semi-final, David Villa and Armando Cooper got into a heated battle. At one point, it looked like Villa kicked out at Cooper and the MLS Disciplinary Committee take a second look at the incident.
That sure does look like Villa intentionally kicked Cooper. The MLS Disciplinary Committee, though, said otherwise. Kurtis Larson, a reporter for the Toronto Sun, reported Wednesday that Villa will not be suspended for Sunday’s match.
