For the second consecutive home match, the Columbus Crew were able to come away with all three points as Gyasi Zardes provided the match-winner.
Zardes’ goal came in the 53rd minute as he managed to get back onsides and put home his sixth goal of the season.
Zack Steffen recorded the clean sheet in net with three saves. His shutout total this season has increased to four, which is only five shy of what he posted at the end of 2017 in the regular season.
