Colorado Rapids Vs Vancouver Whitecaps: 3 things we learned – New changes, same result

Still winless and still bottom of the table, the Colorado Rapids entered Friday night’s match against the Vancouver Whitecaps under new direction. Manager Anthony Hudson was relieved of his duties earlier in the week and assistant coach Conor Casey was named the interim manager. The question was, would the new change at the helm steer the Rapids to a win?

Well, no. The Whitecaps took an early 2-0 lead and seemed well on their way to three points. However, the Rapids battled back with two spot-kick conversions from Kei Kamara. Despite the comeback, the Whitecaps would score a late goal in the 88th minute to grab all three points on the road after the Rapids went down to 10 men.
