Not even missing a beat, the Chicago Red Stars appear to have overcome their malaise with their fourth victory in succession, this time a 2-0 win over the Utah Royals. The Red Stars now sit in third place.
Not quite as dominant as the performance against Seattle, Chicago still showed why they have one of the best teams in the league. Starting early again, Sam Kerr struck first in the 5th minute. Casey Short short put in a cross and, while Nicole Barnhart was able to make the first save, Kerr was too fast to slot home the rebound.
