The Chicago Fire 2019 season might have just received the shot in the arm it desperately needed on Saturday afternoon as the Men In Red swept away the Colorado Rapids by a score of 4-1 at SeatGeek Stadium.
Chicago took the lead after Nicolas Gaitan picked out Nemanja Nikolic with a perfect cross into the area and the Hungarian made his no mistake with his header from close range. The Rapids would equalize soon after from a corner as Kei Kamara lept highest to head home from a few yards out. The game went into the half tied up, but then the Fire really turned it on in the second half.
