The Chicago Fire have lost cabin pressure. Sure, it is a bit hasty to hit the panic button after just one loss, but given the nature of such a horrible performance, you kind of realize how much the panic button needs to be pushed.
Just last week, the Fire finally looked to be in charge. They were on a two-game winning streak and hadn’t lost or even conceded a goal in three games. Things were on the up. And then they come into a game after losing two of their best players and utterly stink out the joint, giving up four goals to a single player.
