Chicago Fire: 3 things we learned from Columbus Crew victory

It only took just one goal for the Chicago Fire to record their first win of the season. Nemanja Nikolic stole a pass from Columbus Crew goalkeeper Zach Steffen and dispatched the turnover for his fourth goal of the season.

The Crew came close to drawing level in the second half when Gyasi Zardes and Mohammed Abu hit the woodwork, while striker Niko Hansen had his goal waved off by an offside call. That was essentially it for quality scoring chances in the second half as the Crew lose their second consecutive match.
