Atlanta United Vs Sporting KC: 3 key players to watch – A tactical focus

Atlanta United and Sporting Kansas City are set to face off for the third time ever. The first two matches proved memorable, with Atlanta securing a draw at the last second in 2017 thanks to former Sporting player Jacob Peterson’s equalizer in stoppage time, while last year’s match in Atlanta was full of drama, including a red card to Atlanta goalkeeper Brad Guzan, which forced fourth string keeper Paul Christensen between the sticks in a match that ended in a 2-0 win for Kansas City.

In fact, Sporting KC are one of just four teams Atlanta United have yet to beat, along with Toronto FC (who they play May 8), the Seattle Sounders, and FC Cincinnati.
