After a rough start to their 2019 MLS season, Atlanta United have been firmly cemented as a top-three side in the Eastern Conference for much of the season. As for their weekend’s visitors, the Columbus Crew, they have been one of the poorer fairing clubs in the East, spending much of the year in the bottom-third of the standings. But the thing about sports is on any given day, any team can win.
Columbus did just that on Saturday, taking down Atlanta in a 3-1 win in front of 68,046 United fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
