The top two teams in the East finally faced each other. We saw Atlanta United go up twice, only for New York City FC to come back both times. The pace of the game was at breakneck speed and fans both in the stadium and out were treated to an exciting game. NYCFC showed why they are at the top of the table, but Atlanta also showed us why they can be considered one of the elites in the league.
While we certainly learned a lot in this key match-up, I think there are more pressing matters as Atlanta moves forward.
