Atlanta United: 4 ways to survive Champions League run

Despite only playing two seasons in MLS, Atlanta United quickly established themselves as an ambitious club. Part of being an ambitious club means having ambitious goals, and one of those goals is to win the CONCACAF Champions League. Since a reformatting of the CCL in 2008, no MLS team has won the tournament. D.C. United and LA Galaxy won previous iterations of the tournament in 1998 and 2000, respectively, but the last decade has been rather barren for MLS clubs.

Atlanta already stated their main focus of this preseason is to prepare for this year’s CCL.
