With a new stadium set to house them for the 2017 NASL season, the New York Cosmos will also be welcoming a new face in Amauri. With an off-season full of financial turmoil and massive roster changes, the Cosmos are finally getting on their feet again as they have managed to sign back a majority of their players.
The signing of Amauri comes with a bit of question and uncertainty, but is justified in the loss of Juan Arango and the Italian’s impressive resume.
Last season, Amauri made the move from Torino to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers towards the beginning of August.
