The New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers game Thursday afternoon erupted in a complete bench-clearing brawl that featured punches being thrown. The brawl was preceded by a pair of players being hit by pitches and the benches actually cleared three times.

Gary Sanchez, the Yankees' catcher who was DHing, homered early in the game. In his next at-bat, pitcher Michael Fulmer hit Sanchez. The Yankees took exception to that and reliever Tommy Kahnle threw a pitch behind Miguel Cabrera. Kahnle was instantly ejected, with manager Joe Girardi also getting the boot after arguing (likely because no warnings had been issued).
Well Aroldis Chapman comes in the game and it looks like everything is fine. But then Cabrera and catcher Austin Romine start catching and all hell breaks loose. Cabrera starts throwing punches, Sanchez comes in throws one as well and even the bullpen guys rush onto the field.

But wait, that wasn't all of it. Later in the game, Dellin Betances hit James McCann in the head. That emptied the benches for a third time, as shown below. Betances was ejected, as was acting manager Rob Thompson after he argued it was an accident.
Un #MegaFail para @DBetances68 por este pelotazo... en cualquier sitio MENOS en la cabeza y peor como están los ánimos en ese juego, así no! pic.twitter.com/stvvqCn6Io

Then the Tigers went for more retaliation, with Alex Wilson hitting Todd Frazier. Again, the benches clear, but just like the second one, no brawl.
Here we go again.....#BaseBrawl take 3....Yet another batter plunked....This time it's Todd Frazier in left thigh via Alex Wilson #Tigers pic.twitter.com/rqhlST9vgA

In the end seven players or coaches are ejected: Cabrera and Wilson of the Tigers and Betances, Kahnle, Romine, Girardi and Thompson. Expect suspensions to come down for multiple parties involved.
