The New York Yankees are among the teams that have expressed interest in signing Japanese ace Roki Sasaki this offseason, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.
Per MLB.com's Thomas Harrigan, Nippon Professional Baseball's Chiba Lotte Marines announced Saturday that they will post Sasaki this offseason, paving the way for him to play in Major League Baseball next season.
Despite being just 23 years of age, Sasaki is a two-time NPB All-Star, he has thrown one perfect game and he holds the NPB single-game record with 19 strikeouts.
