New York Yankees third baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr., who is on the 10-day injured list with a sprained left elbow, is expected to be activated before the team's home series against the Colorado Rockies begins Friday.
SNY's Andy Martino relayed the news.
Chisholm suffered the injury while sliding safely into home plate in the team's Aug. 12 game against the Chicago White Sox. He spoke to reporters about it afterward.
"I'm not super concerned about it," Chisholm said. "We went through all the tests, and all the tests that we've done in here have been pretty positive.
