Even though the New York Yankees kept their season alive with an 11-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the 2024 World Series on Tuesday night, the biggest story coming out of the game were the fans who tried to steal a ball out of Mookie Betts' glove.
The play occurred in the bottom of the first inning when Betts caught a foul ball off the bat of Gleyber Torres when a fan sitting in the front row grabbed the Dodgers star's arm and glove attempting to dislodge the ball.
The fan, Austin Capobianco, told ESPN's Jesse Rogers he was trying to "D" up any play that came into his area.
