Yankees' Encarnacion homers in return from IL

NEW YORK -- New York Yankees slugger Edwin Encarnacion homered in his return from the injured list Tuesday, blasting a two-run shot in the seventh inning against the Texas Rangers.

Encarnacion was the latest player activated off the 17-player-deep IL, where he had been since early August after being hit with a pitch in the right wrist.
