New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman revealed that slugger Giancarlo Stanton is "in a really good place" between his diet and conditioning ahead of the 2024 season, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.
"He's always been one of the most feared hitters in the game," Cashman said. "He's looking forward to getting back to that."
New York's general manager and Stanton's agent, Joel Wolfe, briefly exchanged words through the media following Cashman's comments regarding the availability of the former National League MVP.
"He's going to wind up getting hurt again more likely than not because it seems to be part of his game," Cashman said about Stanton on Nov.
