After losing grasp of a 3-1 lead late in the game, the Cleveland Guardians rallied from a 5-3 deficit to knock off the New York Yankees on a pair of two-run homers: a ninth-inning blast from Jhonkensy Noel to send the game into extra innings and a 10th-inning walk-off shot from David Fry.
Just like that, a series that appeared on the edge of extinction suddenly has new life. The New York Mets, meanwhile, are left hoping to find their own magic after falling into a 3-1 hole with Thursday's 10-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
