The Dodgers may have lost Zack Greinke, but they could still win the offseason.
When news broke Friday that the Arizona Diamondbacks had signed Zack Greinke, Dodgers fans everywhere collectively groaned. While LA’s front office has made a strong bid for Greinke, reportedly offering him five years with an annual salary around $31 million, they were completely blown away when Arizona reeled in the star starter for a whopping $206 million over six years. The extra $50 million was enough to lure him out of Hollywood and into the desert, though D-backs starter Daniel Hudson doesn’t think it was all about the money.
