Chicago White Sox third baseman Tyler Saladino is more than qualified to man the hot corner.
In the top of the second inning of Saturday's game against the Cubs, Saladino made a great diving catch on a scorching liner off the bat of Cubs right fielder Chris Denorfia. There wasn't much time to react, but he managed to lay out and get his glove up to rob the batter of a hit.
White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez immediately threw his hands up in awe and went over to give his teammate some props.
The full-extension catch was a spectacular way to end the inning, and there's no doubt Saladino got a lot of high-fives when he got back to the dugout.
