When Troy Tulowitzki came to the plate in the bottom of the third inning in Game 3 of the ALCS on Monday night, the Blue Jays were clinging to a 3-2 lead against the Royals and were looking for some insurance.
He provided it.
Tulowitzki got an elevated fastball from Johnny Cueto and did not miss it. Tulo crushed it over the center-field wall for a three-run dinger.
It was the beginning of the end for Cueto. After a walk and a double, he was pulled from the game, failing to get out of the third inning.
