You would expect Giancarlo Stanton playing at Coors Field would be must-watch television. On Friday night the Miami Marlins slugger proved that to be true, as he launched an enormous home run that instantly became the longest ball hit in the major leagues this year.
The 484-foot blast to dead center off of Eddie Butler was his 18th round-tripper of the season and gave the Marlins a 3-0 lead.
