The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Baltimore Orioles 5–2 in walk-off fashion on Tuesday night in 11 innings to win the American League wild-card game and advance to the American League Division Series against the Texas Rangers.
Blue Jays outfielder Edwin Encarnacion hit a walk-off three-run home run off Ubaldo Jimenez in the bottom of the 11th inning to deliver the Blue Jays the dramatic win.
